Is it total goals regardless of where scored or is it 2 point for away goals and 1 point for home goals.
If a team wins 5-4 at home in the first leg, then wins 0-1 in the second leg, does the team that lost both games still advance based on aggregate goals?
In this scenario where it is 2 points for away goals the team that lost both games would still advance. That makes no sense.
IS
If the aggregate score is a draw, then away goals are the deciding factor.
If Liverpool win 2-1, Chelsea will advance (2-2 aggregate, Chelsea have 1 away goal and Liverpool have 0 away goals)
If Liverpool win 1-0 then the game goes into Extra Time and then Penalties after 2 - 15 minute halves, if neccessary.
If Chelsea score 1 goal, Liverpool MUST score at least 3 goals to advance to the Final in Athens.
